Dear Sir/Madam,

If your organisation is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate photographer with a very creative background, I would appreciate the opportunity to work within your organisation. As a professional photographer I am skilled in all areas of photography within studio and on location. Additionally I have advanced skills in post-production such as Photoshop, Capture One and Lightroom. I retouch images on a daily basis and have and have a huge passion for retouching images.

I have always had a keen interest in photography, specifically areas in fashion and beauty. For the past 6 years I have been experimenting and developing my skills and knowledge to become a professional in the subject I am most passionate about. The following accomplishments within the accompanying résumé will illustrate my talents and how I have excelled as a photographer.

At the very start of my photography career I enrolled on an A-level photography course which lead onto my University degree in Design:Photography. For the 3 years I was studying the subject I covered various areas of photography including studio, still life, fashion, child, set construction, interior and landscape. Along with receiving a 2:1 for my degree, I won a prestigious competition for a 2 week placement with TigerPrint, who provide all the graphic design, photography and printing for Marks and Spencer. In my time with TigerPrint I designed and produced 3 greeting cards that were published to be sold in-store and online.

For the past year and a half I have been working for Venture Photography capturing the different stories of families in a studio environment.
