About me
I have recently finished studying towards a BA (Hons) in Textile Design at Leeds University and I am now looking to improve my skills as an interior designer.
I believe that the invaluable experience and knowledge I have gained from being trained as a junior designer for another firm would make me a great asset to this position.
The key strengths I possess for success in this role include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Able to create presentations to very short lead times at an
exceptional standard, demonstrating that I am able to work
accurately and efficiently under pressure.
- Effective communication skills practised through working in a busy
team based environment.
- Eager to learn new things, showing a genuine enthusiasm.
- A strive and determination to be successful in everything I do.
- A very good awareness of fabrics and their suitability for end use.
- A good understanding of colour theory learnt as part of my degree
course.
- Excellent CAD skills developed from both work experience and
education.
I hope that after considering my enclosed CV, you will agree that my experience is both relevant and adequate enough to make it as a successful designer.
I will be available for interview at any time and able to start work immediately.
