I would like to apply for the position of Senior Creative Artworker. I have a great deal of experience as an artworker and previously as a designer. Working in small and large agencies throughout my career, starting out at a small advertising agency in the West End, then on to a large experiential agency, RPM in Shepherds Bush, and more recently with Gutenberg Networks, working out of RAPPs offices in Southwark on the Virgin Media account. Within that time I've artworked everything from POS to National press advertising campaigns, large experiential stands to 20-page brochures. With all projects I've been involved in, I've always worked very closely with design, account handlers, QA and production teams, building a very good understanding of repro and print techniques and procedures.
Gaining a great eye for typography, design and layout over the years, I believe my know-how would be a great asset to any team. I've been a pivotal member of a small team whilst with Gutenberg, some times acting as office manager when needed, having a hand in all processes, from briefing through to final artwork supply.
I'm a very organized and hard working person, with a mind that can handle multi-tasking, a great attention to detail and the ability to work under my own initiative or as part of a group. I am a very loyal person, that will do what it takes to complete a task, with a friendly and easy-going personality, and the desire to learn new things. I feel with my varied knowledge, great experience and all round ability I would be a great addition to your company.
