About me

My name is Louis Cannell, I'm 21 years old and I have just completed a
3 year BA Design Marketing degree course at the University of Teesside,
Middlesbrough. I'm currently looking for an opportunity to begin my
professional career in an area of work related to this course, and
would welcome the chance to meet with you to discuss the prospect of
joining your team as an enthusiastic new designer. I'm eager to
participate in the day to day work of your company, to learn from your
experienced professionals, and make a real contribution to your
success. Many areas of design have held my fascination ever since I was
a young boy. In particular, I'm interested in the role of graphic
design as a visual tool in the areas of advertising, promotion and
marketing, and am hoping that the broad scope of my degree course will
provide a good basis for this type of work. Apart from graphic design,
my course experience has included product design, web-design and
multi-media design, and early opportunities to interact with local
companies in 'live briefs'. I'm very keen to progress and employ what
I've learned so far in new directions, and to find a home for my flair
and creativity. I'm enthusiastic, energetic and competitive, with a
real appreciation of the advantages of teamwork. Given the opportunity,
