About me
I am a recent graduate of the University of Wolverhampton with a B.A.Hons in Graphic Communication and Illustration. For me I like the structure and the thinking that goes with graphic design, using ideas to solve problems in design briefs. What I like about illustration is the variety of styles and concepts, the ability to have more freedom with materials.
I have had work placements in some different areas of design: AJB Repro Ltd (printers), Internet business solutions (web design) Staffordshire Living Magazine, JDD (furniture design), and Wedgewood's design department.
I have done a couple of freelance briefs, the most recent was designing the surfaces for a promotional cup and saucer for TCP Marketing Solutions, and the theme was tasseography.
In my career I want to develop my style and learn as much as I can in the industry. My main goal at this moment in time is to find a job as a junior graphic designer in the midlands.
