About me
My name is Loredana and I am an aspiring Fashion Designer. I'm currently a third of the way through my Foundation Diploma in Art and Design (Fashion and Textiles) and the course has intensified my love for fashion design. Through experimentation with fabrication, prints and embellishments within our first module of "Structural Attachment", I realised how important it is to be bold and courageous with both the design and research. Fashion has taught me to have freedom with my work, taking something controversial and making it socially acceptable. I have good skills and knowledge of Photoshop and am good at meeting deadlines. I thrive from interacting with colleagues and love using moodboards to generate ideas. I feel that through working with textiles designers on my course I learnt how to apply colour and interesting fabrications to my designs, this has given me a good knowledge about which fabric combinations work on garments and industrial machine. I also work in River Island.
