Kyotographie International Photography Festival started this weekend in Japan and oh boy we wish we could be there!
As the name suggests, this incredible festival is held in the ancient city of Kyoto during spring in Japan. While honoring its millennium of history and tradition, Kyoto is at the same time a leading light of culture on an international scale.

Running for almost a month (April 14th - May 13th), the 6th edition of Kyotographie will see over 13 exhibitions centered around the theme “UP” staged creatively in various contemporary and traditional settings.

“In today’s world it is easy to feel burdened, pulled down by the issues we face personally and as a global community. In 2018 KYOTOGRAPHIE invites you to look around, look inside, in order to better look UP and trigger new personal and collective impetus towards ourselves and each other, to change our world through awareness, action, and creation.”
