About me

Hello there,

Currently, I'm working for myself, having recently established a corporate identity, website and various product logo's for an independent brewery. Other recent projects include; re-branding for a swimming school, Morris Men, plus illustrations for a children's book. I am also photographing derelict sites for a project about hidden Bedfordshire, hopefully for future publication / exhibition.

Previous to this, my last full time position was designer at an animation/design company from , working on satirical TV productions such as; Have I got News for You and 2DTV.

I have experience in conceptualizing and designing documents through to print, liaising within a team and with clients. I relish a lively environment with enthusiasm. The nature of my previous job entailed working to tight deadlines and long hours when required. Projects were created using Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver and Quark Xpress.

Whilst at university I was awarded a three month scholarship to Drexel University, Philadelphia. In my final year I was awarded creative student of the year by a sponsor for the end of year exhibition. I have studied illustration and photography though have particular interests in typography and screen printing. Saul Bass, Paul Rand, Milton Glaser, Cy Twombly, Banksy and Peter Saville are just some personal sources of inspiration.
