About me

Hi,

I'm a freelance designer, I have recently relocated to London but for the last few years I have lived in Manchester. For the last year I have been working remotely and in-house for a London design agency.

I have lots of experience working on multi-product ranges for a variety of multi national brands and am well practiced at appealing to a British and European consumer. I regularly work on projects from strategic direction, creative directions to designing and tech packs and fittings. I have recently worked on Puma's 2012 Olympic team kits, KangaROO's tend package for licensees , as well as in the past football kits, rugby fan wear, graphics, heritage leisure and denim. My current project is designing women's wear for the Italian brand Diadora which is sporty, trend relevant and feminine.

I also run a small studio where I create collections and commissions that are classically British while thoroughly modern. I sell mainly in independent stores and have also made various collections and bespoke pieces for pop stars, journalists, brides and members of the public. For all I have tried to keep a strong personal hand writing, whilst fulfilling the customer's requests, as well as using locally sourced fabrics and local manufacture.

I am proficient at both hand drawing and CAD having taught both at the University of Salford. Here I really developed my presentation skills and ability to work under pressure through regularly teaching in front of groups of up to 90 students.

I am currently looking for a new and exciting opportunity within a fast paced environment were I can use all of my relevant experience and develop further as a women's wear designer.
