About me

I am excited to apply for the Designer position. I have been

working in London for two years now and I have just finished a year

contract with Emap. I worked as designer on Conferences but most of my

contract was spent working as a designer in the marketing department

working on brands such as Drapers, Retail Jeweller, Retail Week and

Business World Travel magazine. I possess a four year working visa and

can start work immediately.

Prior to leaving New Zealand I was employed at Australasia's largest

magazine publisher, the Australian Consolidated Press, and was

fortunate to design a number of marketing material for leading titles

including Dolly, Cleo, She, Fashion Quarterly and Your Home and

Garden.

I have also worked for a leading New Zealand Fashion designer, Trelise

Cooper in designing and putting together seasonal catalogues for her

overseas clients. I have also designed an identity and logo for a

ladies designer wear boutique.

I work well under pressure, possess good organisational skills, and

have the capacity to work on many projects simultaneously. I also have

well-developed written and interpersonal skills. I think that I have

the skills and enthusiasm to be a valued member of your team and I
