About me

Footwear Designer and Product Developer with 20+ years of industry experience and a passion for creating commercially successful products that balance creativity, functionality and strong technical execution.
My career has spanned children's, women's and men's footwear across multiple categories, from school shoes and slippers to sports, outdoor and fashion products. I enjoy taking ideas from the earliest concept stage through to factory-ready specifications, working closely with buyers, licensors and manufacturing partners to bring products to life.

I particularly enjoy children's footwear, where creativity, storytelling and technical performance come together. Known for being organised, adaptable and easy to work with, I am equally comfortable supporting a single project or managing multiple product ranges simultaneously.

Recently, I've been incorporating AI tools into my design process to enhance speed and exploration, while still relying on the sketching, product knowledge and practical experience that come from over two decades in the industry.

Outside of commercial design, I create homeware from end-of-life footwear materials, giving discarded products a second life. Art, architecture and material innovation continue to inspire my approach to colour, form and design.

I'm always interested in discussing new projects, collaborations and freelance opportunities. If you think my experience could be a good fit for your brand, I'd love to hear from you.
