I would like to apply for the Retouching position currently on your website. Please see my CV attached.
I am currently a Branding & Aesthetics coordinator spending my time spilt between toy buying and fixing up/retouching images, these are for the ecommerce site and all the signage and P.O.S in store boards. I would like to move into retouching full time as I really enjoy the challenges that every photograph brings. I have a great eye for the smallest detail as working for a children's retailer I often have to contend with cracked lips, grubby faces, blemishes and often a lot of creases in the fabric. Colour matching is also of great importance as you have to understand what the online customer will see. It is up to you as the retoucher to get it right, no body wants to open a surprise. Most ranges also normally have colour themes running through a range and so matching shades is very important to keep consistency. Retail is an extremely fast paced world and so being proficient in Photoshop and also Illustrator really are all the tools you need to produce great imagery and quickly.
I live life to the full and believe anything is possible if you put your mind to it. I am looking for a job that I love within a company with an ethos I agree with. Simply put, this is the company for me.
