About me
Hi,
My name is Barbara and I have been working as a graphic designer for different companies since 2004. My portfolio includes examples of books designs, corporate identities, marketing materials and newsletters.
My last full-time employment was as a publishing designer at Penguin Childrens' in London, where I worked on various brands, titles and formats, taking projects from concept to ready for repro. Since my position was made redundant in November 2011 I have been doing freelance design work, creating my own jewellery and become a yoga teacher.
My Art Director at Penguin says:
"To whom it may concern,
I confirm that I have known Barbara Antonino in a professional capacity for 5 years.
She was first employed by Penguin Books as a full-time Assistant Designer and then later promoted to Designer.
As Art Director of the Frederick Warne list I was her manager for the last 4 years of her employment.
I have found Barbara to be a capable Designer. She has good computer skills in the software associated with the role of a publishing designer - including Adobe Creative Suite. She is organised, honest and friendly.
I am happy to provide further information if required.
Yours faithfully,
Liz Catchpole"
Please feel free to take a look at my CV and portfolio and contact on or email me at
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best Wishes,
Barbara
