About me
Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to apply for the position of Designer and Artworker for yuo company.
Firstly, I would like to give you a little outline of who I am; to start, I am a creative, thoughtful, forward thinking and organised individual, with 10 years of hitch-free organisation and planning to offer you. I am well presented, punctual and a great communicator and am more than happy liaising with colleagues on all levels. I have a good sense of humour and am very tactful when it comes to business relationships. I have a CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) qualification, which outlines all of the relevant models and techniques in relationship management, negotiation skills, supplier appraisal, which I know would be a great asset when undertaking this role.
I am a firm believer of maintaining a high level of detail in my work, and would love to be able to show this in a tangible way for your company. I never miss a deadline, which after assessing your job description, would come in very handy when ensuring nominations are required to be submitted on time.
I have had previous involvement in a number of exciting large projects both in my time with the NHS and in my role as Design Coordinator at Ashley Manor Upholstery. One of the main projects was the coordination of the Interiors Show at the NEC, which involved assisting the coordination of 18 sofa sets into a 400m2 display. This included buying in lamps, rugs, tables, side tables and all manner of accent ornaments to create ambience. More recently, I have coordinated high level events and conferences which have been attended by CEOs, clinicians and surgeons from around the West Midlands.
I have extensive knowledge of Microsoft packages, and am also able to navigate through a number of Adobe and Apple software programmes, having both a PC and Mac in my household keeps me fluid on both operating systems. Being a quick learner, I can pick up a required software package in no time. I recently learnt how to use Aperture on the Mac to compose a photo-book for an upcoming event.
I think outside of the box on a general day to day basis and take a keen interest in adverts, marketing campaigns, fashion designs, art, everything!, and I wonder about how I would execute them better, or how they could have appealed to the customer in a better or more direct way, or admire the work that has been carried out. I see the world in a very colourful and dynamic way, which assists me when conjuring up new ideas and developing strategies. I go against the grain rather than follow the crowd.
I do hope you take the time to look at my CV and look forward to hearing from you.
With kind regards,
Lisa Heynes
