About me

I am currently working as a Demonstrator (workshop helper, part lecturer, department marketing rep etc) at the School of Computing at Wolverhampton University in the Software Development team. The subjects areas i am involved with are Game Development, Multimedia and Web (GMax, C++, VB.NET, Director, Flash, PHP). I am interested in freelance work although would consider a job change if the right job comes up. I studied my Virtual Reality degree (3ds Max, Flash, Director, VRML, MultiGen Creator, AutoCAD) in the School of Engineering and Built Environment and worked in the department for two years once i had graduated. Contracted as part of a team offering free courses to small businesses in Construction, we covered AutoCAD (2D and 3D), Architectural Desktop, 3ds Max, Photoshop, Flash and Office Tools. I am interested in 'Serious Gaming' and Interactive Educational Aids as well as web creation and visual simulation. A keen sci-fi, fantasy reader I enjoy going to gigs and travelling. Before taking my VR degree I was a photographer and still take photos and videos which i plan to use to develop projects incorporating sound and programming. I enjoy creating visuals 2D or 3D and adding interactivity and would love to work as part of a team developing applications.
