About me
I draw upon a diverse background, one with roots in Journalism and Education, which drives my open-minded and empathic approach to enhancing my abilities as an experience designer.
Having served in various Experience Design roles in the past, I have developed a passion for merging design with business in attempt to create digital experiences that reflect an understanding of the needs and desires of stakeholders - both internal and external. Through a design thinking methodology and a user-centered design process, my passion has revolved around empathy and user research, as well as creating interactive digital prototypes that reflect, and validate, the findings that surface from various research methods. I've applied this process to the creation of countless websites and applications.
Possessing an undying curiosity for design, strategy, and the research that informs the two, I am nowhere near a sense of feeling "burnt out". On the contrary, my desire to fully understand all facets that comprise information design, and define why certain efforts are failing, where they are succeeding, and discover how we might work to design systems that will drive better outcomes for all excites me.
I continue to nurture my curiosity as I pursue a Master of Science in Information Design and strategy at Northwestern University. Currently, I am looking for a passionate design team to join as my next move, a place where I can expand my knowledge, be mentored, and level up in a thriving design culture.
