About me
Hi!
I was very excited to see that you are looking for someone to fill your Graphic Designer position.
Reading through the description that you have posted, I believe that I would be a perfect candidate for
this role, and would be very grateful to be considered becoming a member of your team.
In order to convince you that I am a great pick, here is a little bit about me. I have graduated from
School of Fine Arts back when I was 16, which gave me a hands-on artistic background. After
graduating from high school in Kaunas, Lithuania, I was accepted to Loughborough University to do a
Foundation course in Art and Design and later Bachelors in Visual Communication. After graduation, I
was offered to work as a Creative in a small magazine in London called BRIC, where I was focusing
on editorial layouts and digital pieces. Furthermore, in 2015 I have joined TONI&GUY creative team
as a Graphic Designer, where I was working closely with the Head of Design and Global Creative
Director on annual campaigns and multiple international brand projects. In the autumn of 2016 I was
accepted to Malmo University in Sweden to do Masters in Media and Communication. This was a very
excited opportunity to learn more about human-media relation, where I have focused my attention on
media activism, advertising, and visual language. At the same time, I was lucky enough to be offered
TV producer's role for TONI&GUY. Because of my background as a graphic designer, my main role as
a TV producer was guiding the team with visual development and to make sure that the production
was in line with the brand. One could call it a brand direction and development guide. At the same
time, I was scheduling photo and video shoots, working backstage for four seasons in London
Fashion Week and managing the production of education DVDs. In the spring of 2018, I have move to
Moss Bros. to fill the position of Mid Weight Graphic Designer. Here I have stepped out of my comfort
zone and worked on creating visual areas and 3D spaces. At the same time, developing brand from
new brand typography to POS. And whenever I had a free moment, I am working as a graphic design
freelancer and looking for various creative things to get involved with, and back in October, I have Art
Directed a magazine for Mortimer House called Maslow's Notebook.
Furthermore, I have slight workaholic tendencies, tend to pour my heart and soul into work and am
very organised. Generally, a bubbly person, that likes books, fine movies and cosy places to eat.
Enjoy being surrounded by inspiring people and learning new skills and tricks.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any
question, would like to go through my work in depth, or simply fancy a cup of coffee.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely
Lina Jankunaite
