About me

I am currently Online Commercial Editor/Special Projects Manager for The Independent's newspaper website, independent.co.uk, managing and preparing all commercial content for online publication, including involvement in initial brainstorms and creative pitches, producing long and short copy for bespoke microsites, advertorial pages, eNewsletters and traffic drivers, and conducting interviews and writing features, as well as maintaining an excellent PR contacts database and sourcing competitions, offers and potential partnerships.I previously held the same role with Associated Northcliffe Digital - working across their range of newspaper websites - and also have experience as Editor of B2B print publications in specialist sectors including pharmaceuticals and oil & gas.
