About me

Liliana Jesus was born in Coimbra, Portugal (1980).

She has a degree course in Communication Design (2002) and she speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish and some French. Her skills include Freehand, Photoshop, InDesign, QuarkXpress, Fireworks and some Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Flash.

While taking her degree course, she started to work as a freelance Designer for the National Museum of Machado de Castro (Coimbra, Portugal).

After that she worked as a Communication Designer for WTA Comunicação, a Communication Design Studio based in Coimbra, Portugal ().

She has done some Summer Courses (Graphic Design, Illustration Workshop, Graphics Summer School and Designers' London) at Central Saint Martins, London, United Kingdom for the past three years ().

She promotes and co-ordinates 'Lije Online'. A blog, weekly updated, where you can find the latest news about Communication Design and Arts in general (since 2005). She is the mother of 'Lije Handmade', her identity in the world of crafters (since 2006).

Last year she was invited to join the Idea Fixa project so now she is also one of the contributors of this brazilian web space.

Presently, and since 2008, she has been working as a freelancer.
