About me

I've recently graduated from Birmingham City University and currently seeking employment where the role revolves around communicating and engaging with others, which was the biggest requirement for me when I was a full-time student. I used that effectively as I was the student representative for my course for the duration of two years. From that role I was able to host big group meetings and note down key information from students and feedback those comments to head of department and senior staff members which produced effective outcomes not only for the students but for the staff as well. I think that experience would help me when employers are considering applicants.

Although I may not have any prior experience in working for an employer, I feel that I have the passion and skills to take on suitable creative roles and graduating from university has given me a new lease of confidence to tackle new problems which I can produce effective solutions for. As for myself I'm currently a freelance illustrator and by doing an internship at Somerset House in London and an artist residency at Birmingham City University, I'm enhancing my creative skills which may help potential employers. I'm constantly thinking about visual and effective ideas which involves me trying to find methods of approaching the final solution which was my biggest strength in coursework, so if you were to employ me I would always be on the lookout of different methodologies in developing effective ideas and solutions for the workplace. By organising my own work the workplace and team would function more efficiently.
