Hello,

I'm Lewis James Turner, freelance designer/visualiser. Please allow me to outline my design skills, history & ethos.

I graduated with First Class BSc Hon's from Salford University's Product Design & Development course Five years ago. I have worked for various consultancies & have Four years experience designing & developing bespoke & mass produced, retail furniture, POP & digital interactive kiosks for various UK manufacturers.

I currently 3D/2D design,visualise & develop freelance & part time lecture Product Design & Development at Salford University.

Interacting with & tutoring the young, paradigm challenging, open minded students of Salford keeps me constantly re-evaluate my preconceptions whilst re-energising my passion for design & problem solving. The University environment also exposes me to forefront paradigms as I help the students to understand & put them into practice.

I enjoy the varied challenges offered by freelancing; working remotely or in house with new groups of people, interacting with other designers, marketing heads, engineers & shop floor staff to create the best product possible under the constraints of tight challenging deadlines.
