About me

My current role requires me to have the ability to operate at a senior level to create future strategies for Design, along with the practical skills of project management to ensure implementation from inception though to manufacture and beyond. In building and managing a successful team of multi-skilled and diverse professionals I have gained extensive experience in process improvement, team development and in working with suppliers on a global scale to deliver key projects.

Activities beyond my current role include lecturing and training on the theory and practice of Design Management to audiences both large and small. This has given me the opportunity to develop my presentation skills and a keen interest in the development of new talent.

Working both in-house and within the consultancy environment across a broad range of products and sizes of company has provided me with an in-depth understanding of the client / supplier relationship and how to gain the most from that relationship.

A strong sense of aesthetics, coupled with an energetic obsession with quality and product ease of use drives me to ensure that the integrity of initial concepts is maintained through to manufacture.

I am currently looking for role to both utilise my extensive experience while offering the development potential to match my enthusiasm.
