Please accept this letter as an application for employment in which I outline my qualities and broad range of skills and knowledge, which makes me qualified for the position of video editor.

I am a multi-award winning filmmaker with over eight years professional experience in editing and camera operation. I am also a trained graphic designer holding more than ten years experience in digital and print design.

My knowledge in video production stems from studying as a motion graphic artist at the London College of Printing (Now the London College of Communication) where I first was able to transfer my skills as a graphic designer towards moving image. In 2004 I formed a production company with four other colleges and developed my skills as a cinematographer, editor, director and producer. From this intense grass roots level, I later moved on the various employment and freelance opportunities as an editor and camera operator where I was privileged enough to work with and learn from some of the most talented people I know.

Recent projects consist of:

Leading a team of ten crew and cast to produce the award winning short 'Victim'.

In 2010 I wrote the screenplay for Victim and later went on to co-produce, direct and edit the film. Victim went on to win the Prodigy Auteur Prize at the 2011 Amsterdam Film Festival and the Award of Merit at the Best Shorts Competition in 2011. To date Victim has also received Official Selection at four other film festivals including Cannes Film Festival's Short Film Corner 2011 and continues to be well received.

Leading the creative team of a digital marketing consultancy.

Reinvent A Wheel is a consultancy that specialises in digital marketing, providing interactive solutions and strategies with a lean methodology for businesses designed to help empower and maximise underused assets. Part of my roll as a partner was the creation of bespoke info-graphic diagrams designed to simplify our client's complex inbound marketing strategies.

My strongest asset is my strong eye for detail, with an relentless commitment to professionalism and task completion. You will find me to be a motivated and dedicated individual, who works well independently and as a team member, also having the ability to multitask and adapt to unforeseen situations. I also possess excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
