About me
My name's Leigh. And I'm a Senior Copywriter (sounds a bit like an AA meeting, but with slightly more shame).
I've scribbled stacks of words (including over 2000 SMSs for O2 which is surely some kind of endurance record), and generated almost as many ideas. All within the digital, social and print spheres.
Having creatively led accounts like BT, EE and Royal Mail for big network ad agencies, I can do the 'cradle to the grave' stuff; taking the brief, coming up with the idea, selling it in to the client, and then getting the thing(s) made and deployed.
But I'm also just as happy working on a copy brief generating a suite of social posts, emails or banners (and of course SMSs, as we've already established). I had a life before advertising, so I still consider myself lucky to be doing this for a living (I wasn't working down a mine pre-advertising, but you get the gist).
