This is a self-initiated project creating a unique brand identity & promotional material for a new exhibition starting at the Dalí Theatre-Museum, his last masterpiece, and in his birth and death place of Figueres, Catalonia, it will then tour from city to city, included as part of the exhibition will be designed exhibition tickets, ooh advertising posters, a catalogue/ guide book, merchandise, website/digital design concept etc.
I manipulated (Anagram) typeface which i thought suited, as it was bold and quirky, it had these curls on certain faces which I quite liked, and was a bit of a gift, I twisted them round and flipped them to look like his famous moustache combined it with a simple sans face (LiteraEF) to complement it.
The posters will develop and will be a varied range that can be purchased some will come as a pair using the the red and gold of the Catalan flag in his honour.
This is a first time Dalí exhibition exploring and explaining the ideas and thought process behind his art, along with an insightful look into his inspirations and creative passion stemming from the early, the surreal through to the classical years of his great life and work.
