I have worked as a Copywriter, Content Creator (blogs, long-form copy and headline writing) and Editor in advertising and the broadcast, and print, media for the past five years.
My agency experience includes working with Ogilvy on several high profile campaigns with key clients, including VW Beetle, Nestle, Mercedes-Benz and Daimler. I have strong, cross-platform digital skills and social media expertise having created content for, and designed, a number of social media pages, the most recent example being for True North Productions. Promoting these channels, targeting influencers to increase coverage and utilise my extensive media contacts, is also a key skill. As is the use of Google Analytics to analyse and assess effectiveness. Excellent research skills coupled with a creative yet analytical mind ensure my work is enhanced by cultural awareness and a global perspective.
I am a meticulous proofreader and adept at versatility, with the ability to create engaging and succinct content to reach a variety of targets. Having worked in an international newsroom as a Copy Editor, giving final approval on all scripts prior to transmission- to an audience of over 600 million, I thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure environment working to strict deadlines following editorial guidelines with precision. I wrote punchy, witty headlines and shoulder boxes here, along with all on-screen supers and anchor scripts.
I form excellent working relationships easily and possess exemplary communication skills, having trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
