Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to enquire about the upcoming vacancy in your company, in doing so I have attached my CV to provide you with the relevant information.

I have been involved in production for a few years - beginning as a part time hobby as a teenager, my experience with production expanded to freelance opportunities and independent paid work. Throughout my years being involved in production I have developed excellent skills with post-production and am confident with non-linear editing programmes such as Final Cut Pro, Sony Vegas Pro, and Adobe Premiere Pro. I have also gained experience filming with Canon DSLR and Sony cameras.

I am extremely keen to get my foot into the industry and work for a company with a great reputation and high profile like yourselves. I'm a hard working individual with a creative flair who pays attention to detail and feel my skills and experience would benefit your company. A chance to speak with you about the role would be excellent. Unfortunately I am unavailable on the 22nd August and between the dates 26th August-1st September.
