About me
Hi Folks at why Not! Think people
Now this is a job spec I've been waiting for! I'm not going to lie, the food and drink brands may have been the first element to catch my attention, but it's your clear strategy of looking at what people think, feel and do that really shows me your agency is something special.
For the last 4 years, I've had the opportunity to write for a variety of brands, short and long copy, conceptual to practical and everything in between. I really love coming up with ideas and thinking of different ways to mould them across media spectrum, without losing the heart of the campaign. For me, it's all about telling a story that has meaning, changes behaviour and gives the audience a way to connect with the brand.
I've been lucky enough to work with lots of talented people - from art directors and designers to UX, planning and other copywriters, as well as lots of solo work along the way. It's great to bounce ideas off other people but I also like to take some time out and work on something that's just mine too.
Back to food and drink (very important). As I'm a foodie at heart, I've have wanted to work on these brands for a long time. I just love the emotional connections we make with what we eat and drink and believe there's so many interesting ways to talk to people's heart's rather than just their mouths. Now, if you're getting a little hungry thinking about all this food, you might want to take a look at my baking blog whatunicornseat.tumblr. Happy elevensies!
I would really like an opportunity to meet with you and chat about the role and the agency in more detail. I think I might be onto something special here.
