Dear Sir/Madam,

Further to reviewing the job opportunity posted on the Creative Poole website , I note that a position for a Junior AE/PM has arisen within your company, of which I would welcome the opportunity to apply for.

I have recently graduated from Southampton Solent University, after completing a three year BA (HONS) Advertising course, and trust that my graduation results,creative portfolio attached and the creative flair I carry illustrates the commitment and enthusiasm which I could bring to your company.

The Advertising course has allowed me to develop my creative skills whilst gaining confidence from working closely with market leading brands. The content of the course included the following creative units encompassing all aspects of Marketing and Advertising, these including:

Marketing - SWOT analysis, creating strategies, writing brands reports and working out budgets/costs.

Online Advertising - Using HTML/Dreamweaver/Flash to create online websites, flash animations and social media.

Creative - Working in a team of two, to produce advertising campaigns across different media platforms for different leading brands.

IT skills - Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, In Design, Dreamweaver, Flash, HTML.

During the three year course I was fortunate to have the opportunity to obtain work experience at top London Advertising agency RKCR/Y&R, at which time I attended client meetings offering my input which I was informed was relevant and valued. Whilst completing my work experience I also had the opportunity to show case to the agency my creative work, in addition to which I worked in close collaboration with other creative teams to obtain tips and advice for offer value in the industry. My time at the agency proved extremely informative and I have transferred my skills learnt over to my current work which is illustrated in my online portfolio in which you can see examples of my most recent creative work.

I am currently coming towards the end of an Internship working as a Social Media/Marketing assistant for Rush, - a leading Hair and Beauty salon across London and the South. My role includes producing artwork for the Rush homepage, online banners and corporate newsletters, working in conjunction with the marketing team to create new and innovative online campaigns which are pushed across Facebook and other social media platforms.
