About Layla
Since graduating, I have spent five years as a print and digital journalist working on leading newspapers and magazines. I am a competent writer and editor, driven to come up with exclusive stories and features, covering a wide range of topics.
Currently working as Editor in Chief for a Dubai healthcare company, I have previously worked as a writer for Ahlan! Magazine, ITP, the Middle East's biggest selling celebrity weekly magazine. I have also edited Signature Magazine, a luxury fashion and lifestyle magazine and have additionally written for Grazia Magazine Middle East.
While working for these publications, I have researched and written numerous articles on travel, celebrities, events, dieting, food, luxury living, art, beauty, health, men and women's fashion and conducted interviews with many high profile individuals including celebrities, diplomats and business people. I have also organised a number of photo-shoots and conducted many spa, travel, hotel and restaurant reviews.
I excel at time management and in meeting strict deadlines. I am personable and outgoing, with a strong work ethic and passion for writing.
