About me

I am a young graduate from the University of Westminster. Having recently completed a BA hons in illustration, I am now seeking employment within the advertising or design industry.

Having studied illustration I am used to visualising ideas, and developing them to a finished standard. The course has confirmed for me the importance of patience, hard work and the ability to function competently as well as quickly under pressure; a challenge that I have always enjoyed. It has also provided many opportunities for me to demonstrate my skills and ability to apply them over a variety of media and materials.

Although my studies have been in illustration, over the duration of my course, I have become increasingly interested in the world of advertising and design. This has prompted me to do much research into the field, looking into specific campaigns and visiting practising creatives at such companies such as Karmarama and Lowe.

The work I have been doing recently includes three projects submitted for the YCN Awards. A brand building exercises for Orange Mobile and Barefoot Wines, as well as the Keep Britain Tidy campaign. These I feel have given me an opportunity to really expand my creative sensibilities. Allowing me to practice my skills in ideas and problem solving, which I feel are my strong points, as well as providing the challenge of taking an idea right through to its finished stages.
