I am writing to apply for the role of Luxury Packaging Designer - £40k - London, as advertised on Indeed.

As a graduate with over three years experience working as a retail Graphics and packaging Designer I have skills that I feel will be invaluable to your company. During my time at one of the leading jewellery manufacturers I have accepted a promotion from Junior to Mid-weight Designer and I am now a significant member of their creative team.

My work involves researching current and future trends; designing and coordinating packaging and point of sale graphics for high-end brands including M&S, Sainsbury's, Swarovski and Oasis, SONY and Universal, seeing each project through from concept to production.

Understanding each brands' values, handwriting and customer profile is essential to design and construct packaging that is not only fit for purpose but also sits alongside the rest of the brand in store. I have daily communication with host companies, Far East suppliers and brand teams and like the challenge of meeting all of their expectations to agreed timelines.

I am highly confident in using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and have some experience in using I motion and Dreamweaver. I enjoy the thrill of working in a fast paced environment to tight deadlines ensuring my high level of detail and accuracy is never compromised.

I am currently soley responsible for designing the accessories packaging for the most profitable part of Icon Live Ltd, Wholesale and Licensing. Working with brands such as Minions, Breaking Bad, Hello Kitty and Disney, attending regular host meetings and interpreting guidelines into innovative packaging designs.
