Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to be considered for the Senior Desktop Publishing Specialist role you have advertised, please find my CV attached.

For the last seven years I have been working in the busy publishing department of the CII, meeting tight deadlines on a daily basis. I have excellent Adobe Creative Suite (CS) 4/5/6, Quark, MS Office, XML (CMS), copy-editing and proofreading skills. I also have good communication and negotiation skills as well as the ability to work well under pressure. I have an excellent eye for detail and regularly manage the Production department in the Production Manager's absence, training new staff members as required. In addition, I have experience of creating ebooks in all formats, managing schedules and maintaining stock levels.
