Greetings,

My name is Laure Guery, I am a French recent Graphic Design BA Honours graduate from Kingston University, living in Chelsea, London.

I am very Interested in the current position you have advertised. I feel that this position within a high end, well established company like yours, will give me the opportunity to utilies my skills and quirky approach to find great solutions for, at the same time I look forward to working together with your creative team on larger projects where I will gain valuable experience and be able to grow and advance.

My final dissertation was on 'The Pschychological Techniques used in Advertising to influence the consumer', I chose to research and write about this as I felt as a designer it is important to understand the mind of the consumer or target audience, and the best methods to reach them.

During my studies I gained great skills working on both digital and print jobs. I have a good understanding of layout, print processes and materials. I enjoy working on campaigns, logos and branding, product design, photo editing and retouching, and am keen to extend my knowledge of web design and developing. I have worked with private clients from brief to final product. It is important to stay current. I have a keen Interest in Fashion, products, current affairs, technology, causes, music and sports.

I am confident in working on various projects at the same time and meeting tight deadlines. I hope that my multi-lingual status could also help you with international clients and communication.
