Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a Designer and I would like the opportunity to tell you a bit about myself, I am extremely interested in the Graphic Designer position you have available. I have successfully completed an Honor's Degree in Graphic Design at Staffordshire University. I have also gained 5 years experience working for blue chip companies e.g. Rolls-Royce PLC, Mainline Communications Ltd (part of Orange), Games Workshop Ltd working as a Graphic Designer and The Dolls House Emporium in Derbyshire as a Graphic Designer. I currently working for DesignFX in Ripley Derbyshire as a Graphic Designer working on POS for 3D and 2D artwork, I am looking to expand my career into other areas of the design industry.
I am dedicated and got a keen eye for detail. I am a hard working person that will bring inspiration and imaginative concepts to new projects. I am able to produce new, clear and strong material to meet with specific customers needs. I am flexible in changing work situations, self-motivating, fast learner and work well in a team environment or as an individual. I work to tight deadlines, producing high profile marketing material with a fast turn-around and well experienced in communicating with clients on all promotional materials, and also I work within the company to promote business through networking events.
I have worked on various pieces of work, for example: image re-touching, packaging, brochures, newsletters, factsheets, posters, marketing materials, banners and adverts, please see a few samples of my work attached. I am proficient in all Mac and PC programmes, which include Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Acrobat and also QuarkXPress, Microsoft Office suite and I am also very knowledgeable in pre-pressing and print processes.
