About me

I'm a writer, photographer, and educator currently studying for a Master's degree in Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia. Having spent the last fifteen years teaching around the world, it's time to move on to new adventures and leave the language classroom behind. I'm looking for new opportunities to utilize my writing talents and am particularly interested in gaining further experience in copywriting and UX writing.

In parallel to my teaching career, I also worked as a concert photographer and went on to become an award-winning portrait photographer. I also worked as a music journalist in Japan and currently write and edit for Japan's largest music festival, Fuji Rock. Occasionally, I also worked as a voice actor, voicing documentaries and entertainment programmes for NHK World.
