About me

Hi, I'm Laura Barton, a 20-year-old Irish BSc Interactive Media student at Ulster University, Coleraine, specialising in videography, editing, photography, and motion graphics. I bring together a photographic eye, a musical instinct, and a love for storytelling to create content that's both visually impactful and emotionally resonant.

In 2024, I was honoured with the Greer Garson Film Award for my short film "Grief",and in I will be representing Northern Ireland in America next year as a Study USA Ambassador, having been awarded a fully funded scholarship by the British Council and Go Global Teams through Ulster University. This opportunity will enhance not only my technical and creative skills but also my leadership and cross-cultural communication abilities.

I'm confident on camera, collaborative by nature, and thrive in fast-paced, creative environments. My long-term goal is to bring stories to life as a motion designer, videographer, or brand content creator, with a focus on authentic storytelling and youthful, vibrant visuals.
Currently open to freelance work, brand collaborations, and media internships, let's connect and create something original!
