About me
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing with keen interest in the role of Graphic Designer which is advertised online. As you can see from my CV I have many skills and experiences pertinent to this role which I have gained from working as a Graphic Designer and Printer as soon as I completed my degree in the same field.
Currently, I work as a Media Technician and Digital Media Teaching Assistant at a new academy. This role is highly creative and beneficial, however for personal progress I wish to advance to a more specific design role to better fulfill my creative potential and passions. My keen enthusiasm of digital media and technology, teamed with my fine tuned design skills, I believe, makes me a highly compatible individual for this job role. I feel I have an insight into what it would take to adequately represent your company and creative projects through design and visual communication. I have experience with all required Adobe software and I am accustomed to working in a face paced, ever changing environment.
Through my career so far I feel that I have obtained a greater awareness of communicating with a range of audiences through visual means. This involves not only communicating with high school students, but also gives me opportunity to communicate professionally with clients, colleagues and the general public through my freelance work.
Additionally, as film and photography is part of my role as a technician, as well as an important hobby, I have completed photography and film projects from shooting to editing, which makes my competence not only relevant but also gives me a unique blend of skills which can offer you a great deal of consistent potential.
Even though I live in the West Midlands at the moment, I am looking to move to London so relocation should I be successful in this application would not be an issue.
