About me
I have been educated in a broad range of marketing and management subjects whilst at university and am now very keen to be able to utilise this knowledge creatively. I attained the highest mark in the year for Business Strategy and excelled in my Writing in the Media and Strategic Marketing modules. I had the opportunity to gain hands on marketing experience during my internship at Hewlett Packard working as a Marketing Executive. I worked on and managed a range of marketing campaigns, working closely with a variety of creative agencies.
At A-level I produced an advertising campaign and achieved an unheard of 100%. It was retained by the board and may have been used as a sample for the next years candidates. Being creative and developing unique and exciting ideas has always been where my enthusiasm and passion lies.
I have had a range of project management experience through single handedly running and developing the Customer Reference Programme for the UK at Hewlett Packard. I am pleased to say that I produced some great results. I was the Managing Director of my dissertation team at university in introducing a niche activity to the market. This involved extensive research in order to develop a business plan and marketing communications plan to present to supposed investors.
I have had much experience working as part of a team and communicating with a variety of people through university, my work experience and extra curricular activities. Working on marketing campaigns across two business segments and on my own customer reference/PR role at Hewlett Packard as well as balancing my extra curricular activities with my degree at university has provided me with experience of managing multiple projects. I am enthusiastic and ready to throw myself into a career I can love.
