About me

Hello,
I graduated with a 2:1 degree in graphic design in 2009 and have
since been doing placements to build upon my experience and am looking
for a job to progress into.
I have just finished a placement at Cosmopolitan Magazine where i
have gained experience designing layouts, working with templates,
preparing pages for press, promotions, researching and touching up
images, photoshoots, updating the dummy whilst also assisting the
members of the art department with administrate tasks and learning
about production. I am also currently working as an intern at River Ltd
on their Healthy magazine.
I have also worked in London for a real estate consultancy agency as
their inhouse designer with the main purpose being to design their
corporate brochure. Whilst there i also designed floor banners, web
banners, logos, corporate documents and powerpoint templates as well as
learning to design and edit html mailers. I liaised with illustrators,
designers and printers during this time and gained valuable
experience.
I am a very passionate, self-motivated designer who enjoys working
at a fast pace. Whilst at university i specialised in typography and
through dedication and attention to detail I gained membership to the
International Society of Typographic Designers and also exhibited at
D&AD New Blood graduate showcase. However I also have a love for
illustration and all things handmade.
