About me
Regarding the Social Media Coordinato position currently advertised on LinkedIn, please find attached a copy of my CV for your consideration.
Having worked within social media for over four years I have developed a wide range of skills that would meet, and exceed the expectations for the role.
As you will notice from my CV I am currently working as Social Media Executive at 666bet, managing all social media activity for the brand. I have worked within the betting industry for five years and developed a humorous and tongue in cheek tone of voice which suits the target audience.
I also manage the social media activity for MetroPlay which has a slightly different target audience to 666bet. This is a casino and games website aimed at casino players as opposed to sports fans and sports bettors on 666. This shows I can adapt my tone of voice well to suit a brand and its audience.
I have many year experience writing editorial copy at internships and full-time positions. This has mostly been in the sports and fashion fields but I have written on many different topics including celebrity culture, entertainment, beauty and health and fitness. I have an adaptable writing style and writing is a big passion of mine. I also run my own blog and regularly write articles for this. I live and breathe social media on a personal level as well as professionally and I am often getting involved in the latest debate on Twitter or sharing articles, discussing topics etc.
In my present role I work to a sporting calendar and plan content around key events in the sporting world, as well as round pre-planned promotions. Using my experience and knowledge to push the right content at the right time.
In all the positions I have worked in social media I have dealt with customers. Social Media is about conversation and it fascinates me as a communications tool between opening up conversations between brands and audiences. I regularly answer customer queries, complaints and undertake keyword searches to be involved with current conversations on topical subjects, to be at the forefront of a competitive landscape.
I report to the Head of Brand with analytics reports from Google and other software. Following the Grand Prix of Darts, an event sponsored by 666bet, I ran a report to understand engagement levels during the tournament and live tweeting, including how many shares, followers and likes were gained during the period as well as figures on engagement levels and how many replies and retweets gained during the given period. I have also used this software to report back on social traffic driven to the website sign up page.
I am now looking to use the skills and experience I have gained working in the online betting industry to progress with my career in social media marketing. I would be happy to discuss my experience further and look forward to hearing from you.
