About me

Hi I'm Laura. I am a Graphic Designer and Artist. I studied Graphic Design at University Centre Weston (Bath Spa University) and graduated in 2025 with a First Class Honours Degree. I live in Weston-super-Mare with my husband, our two sons and our dog Obi.
I like using traditional methods and then blending them with digital skills. I believe that the power of hand-made elements brings warmth and personality to the design process. My work often incorporates elements of collage, lino printing, and other craft techniques, such as mosaic, resulting in unique and interesting designs. I am inspired by shapes and forms in nature and everyday objects, often using them as a starting point in my work.
I feel a constant desire to fill blank spaces with details and doodles, adding my own touch and personalisation. I have been developing this inclination more formally in recent years by focusing on surface pattern design. My aim is to make aesthetically pleasing designs, enhancing everyday objects and infusing them with a touch of artistry.
