About me

My previous experience working within design and TV companies (BBC and Al Jazeera), The National Museum of Photography, Film & Television (NMPFT) and production companies, has provided me with a broad range of skills encompassing administration, organisational and creative. Majority of my commercial jobs have had tight deadlines, most of them competing with each other. This meant working with several briefs at once, as well as dealing with several clients, and also working with crew and suppliers to produce the final piece.

Whilst at the NMPFT, my main responsibility was the production of the TV Heaven gallery. For this project I was in charge of the production, research, proposals for the work, the budget and negotiating contracts with outside builders and product suppliers as well as freelancers and technical support. This job taught me quickly the importance of multi-tasking, working under intense pressure, and the art of communicating to others the visual style needed.

Since then I have worked for design companies, providing solutions for layout and style, before taking time out to go traveling. Upon returning to the UK, I completed my MA, and have since been working as either a freelance or

contract designer/creative producer.

Recently I have worked with Hastings College to produce an interactive DVD and 247 Television, to produce a series of ten programmes on personal finance for students. This meant dealing with the admin, crew, budget and art direction.
