About me
I have recently concluded studying a Ma degree in Post Production. I am now on the look out for a new challenge, within the production industry. As you will be able to see from my CV I have gained a wide range of both transferable and specific skills, which relate to working in media production.
I have technical experience editing with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro and basic knowledge of Avid. I also have practical VFX experience with Nukex and Adobe After Effects, dealing with motion key framing, compositing, rotoscoping and motion graphics. I have good organisational skills dealing with media ingest, transferring and exporting files, compiling project rushes and completing clip logs.
During the last year I have gained knowledge and technical skills in post-production practices and techniques. I have learnt the importance accurate workflows and developed an understanding of the benefits and limitations that different technology and equipment, may or may not have on a project. I have also learnt the problem solving that is involved in working with these technologies, codec and file formats. I have gained the understanding of the theory behind editing techniques and practices deployed to different formats and genres.
While completing various work experience placements, in post-production environments. I enjoy the diverse range of task encounter each day, along with the fast pace turn around of live projects and changing priorities. I learnt the important of teamwork and organizing projects correctly. I have developed a professional practice to ensure the smooth transition and completion of a project in time to deadlines and transmission.
Over the past year I have undertaken various live briefs, to produce promotional on-line contents for various clients. I have been involved in the filming of star-studded events for Viva Magazine. This material was used to publicise the success of the events on Viva's website. I have also undertaken projects with Manchester based artist Fanny Gogh. It was my role to filmed, produced and edited a variety of show reels of events and exhibitions. To create promotional material that highlights the charity work that Fanny Gogh does for the British heart foundation.
I have a keen interest in the advancement of technology and software and the constantly evolving world of media production. I recently took part in the Adobe Anywhere CS7 Premiere Pro trial and competition. I took apart in the testing of the CS7 Adobe Premiere Pro Anywhere collaborative workflow platform. That allows users to access media across virtually any network any location.
I am also confident with a range of Microsoft programmes such as Word, Excel and Power Point. I am a capable typist, with the ability to pick up new programmes quickly.

Post-Production practitioner, experienced in producing, editing and camera operations., Studied Final Cut Pro, Avid and Premiere Pro for video editing. Pro Tools and Adobe Audition for sound editing. Da Vinci Resolve for colour correction and grading. I have knowledge of Nuke and After Effects for VFX and motion graphics., Specialties - Creative design, art and portrait painting.
