About me
My Name is Laura Hunter and I am fresh from traveling around Europe and
ready to get working in London.
Not knowing how the whole creative recruitment process works in London, I
thought I would contact Adlib recruitment, tell you a little about
myself, show you a little work and see if I can come in for a chat. Now I
am based in London, but I am flexible at this stage.
I am not your average creative, although I might appear on paper as a
copywriter, I have completed my Masters in Animation, and recently worked
at Lifelounge, an magazine/online/experimental advertising agency as a
copywriter/animator/illustrator.
At Lifelounge I wrote everything from print to TV and radio ads, with
recent work I did for the Victorian government winning Round 4 of the
Siren Radio awards for an anti drug campaign. I also produced concept,
concept and finished art and animations.
Previous to Lifelounge I freelanced while i completed my Masters in
Animation, which was great in improving my writing skills, directing and
visualisling skills. My major animation, Wilber, won the AIM graduate
screen sound award and appeared in MIAF, the Melbourne Animation Film
Festival.
And to start off my career I cut my teeth on big clients such as Virgin
Blue Airlines, Kmart (fashion and general merchandise) and Holden Cars at
Cummins and Partners. For Virgin Blue a radio I wrote won a CAPA-LCA award
and we won a Bronze MADC award for packaging.
