About me

In June 2012 I will have completed my course in BA Hons Motion Design and Visual Effects at Glamorgan University, Cardiff. I am currently looking for a role in a creative studio with tons of stimulating projects, to conquer and work alongside a creative team.

In a fast moving, technological world designers are constantly evolving and testing the boundaries of computers generated imagery, none more so than those in the field of motion graphics. As I've matured I find myself experimenting with new media, a particular focus of mine is using computer software, channelling my creative energy into a modern format. My experience in university and the work place has given me the opportunity to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, successfully answer design briefs and develop personal skill when working on my own or as part of a team.

Skills

Software known: Photoshop, After Effects, Boujou and Final Cut Pro., I can produce 2D matte paintings, stop motion, green screen compositing and my greatest skill is creating television advertising. Strong presentation skills, both orally and in writing. I make presentations regularly to both lecturers and students. I have worked with people from all backgrounds, including international students, customers and colleagues. Through this I have learnt to adapt my style to suit different audiences. I am comfortable balancing more than one task simultaneously and balancing the needs of different projects and varying schedules.
