About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please find attached my CV and examples of my work as an application for the role of Designer/Illustrator.

In 2011 I graduated from UWIC, Cardiff, with a 2:1 BA (HONS) degree in Contemporary Textile Practice. During the course, I developed creative, organisational and problem solving skills. My designs from my final degree project have been on display in Urban Outfitters Cardiff and Bath stores, and were shortlisted for the Texprint 2011 competition.

I am applying for the position as I have a strong creative perspective, whilst remaining commercially aware for each relevant project. I thrive on versatility, and enjoy applying my various creative skills to the task in hand. I have a keen interest in design, particularly stationary and gift products.

I also have relevant experience negotiating with suppliers, customers and making strong links with design companies and high street retailers. I am fully able to multi task effectively, communicate pro-actively and adapt to varying requirements within a role. My current salary is £22,000.
