About me

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to apply for a Junior Designer position after completing a Graphic Design Masters degree with a First this summer (at Sheffield Hallam University), I am now looking for more experience.

Although packaging design is my thing, I am keen to experience different aspects of design now I have finished studying. I am particularly interested in ideas that implement change or challenge what is currently perceived to be the norm, I enjoy learning and am keen to gain more experience. I have attached a pdf of my recent uni projects which attempt to tackle social issues - I feel i enjoy these kind of briefs most, where design means something rather than being just superficial whilst I also enjoy thinking about the whys and whos of each project to get a deeper understanding of what the product or brand will offer.

I have worked previously as an intern at packaging manufacturer Wrapology in London and also a student placement at Anthem, both of which allowed me to work on live briefs where I had autonomy and responsibility whilst working in a team.

I would love to have the chance to further my skills as a junior designer.
