About me
I am a multi product womenswear designer with 9 years of experience across small and corporate brands. A designer with a plethora of skills including excellent time management, self motivation, great team management, adaptability and exceptional organisational skills. At Nicce and Fila I enjoyed a huge amount of responsibility in regard to design freedom of both shapes and print designing lifestyle fashion product as well as sports and loungewear, keeping the customer at the forefront with targeted design aesthetic and creativity. At both Fila and Nicce I worked on more trend led SMU packs for ASOS and UO, this included swim and resort packs as well as more fashion focused soft separates and knit product. I also gained a huge amount of team management skills at both these roles as senior, ensuring my team felt they were growing as designers, feeling their creative input is recognised and encouraging their own development. I also worked for more fashion focused brands such as Cinta The Label, Oh Polly and Missy Empire, I was able to mainly focus on soft separates/dresses here and during my time at Religion. Experimenting with shapes and developing my own prints, this was always my passion product category from when I started in the industry and is why I am applying for this role. My catalogue of work shows my versatility as a designer, having worked with such a variety of brands ensures I have knowledge and experience in all areas of fashion. From working with fashion focused brands to sports/loungewear brands. I think this plethora of experience in multi-product is essential when being a senior designer, the importance of understanding how fabrics change a design and different details needed for the different categories is vital. Exceptional photoshop and illustrator skills used alongside my own technical garment construction/detailing knowledge for creating detailed design and technical packs, additionally to creating my own prints. A team player who loves sharing ideas, which encourages inclusivity and creates a positive team dynamic
