About me
I am a multi-disciplinary creative with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, inquisitive and passionate about learning and creating things that connect and share ideas.
Studying and working in London I have experience in design for print, publication design, spacial and exhibition design. Most recently, working as a studio assistant, my role transforms and evolves with the different projects coming through the studio.
Previously, my roles have been within small teams, often working independently which required me to be proactive and well organised. Working independently built up my self-confidence and the ability to work and make decisions using my own initiative. The nature of my previous
roles have required me to be versatile and flexible in the way I approach tasks and projects.
Perhaps slightly meticulous with layout, organisation and research, my approach often applies the strategy and logistics of graphic design to the situation that I am presented with - usually a exhaustive experimentation and research process. I find this useful when learning new skills, managing tasks and finding solutions to all sorts of problems.
As a designer I am interested and excited by work that connects and communicates by sharing ideas and making impressions. As creatives we are explorers, communicators, inventors, educators and thinkers; inspiring change and diversity.
I feel that my cheerful personality and genuine appetite for knowledge would suit a hard working ambitious team.
Thank you for your time to consider my application. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Thank you,
Laura
